John Deane – Poet

John wrote the grooms speech for us in the form a funny poem. We were asked to supply memoirs funny anecdotes and family names to help him write it. Whilst composing the poem John asked for regular feedback and any extra details.

The finished poem was great! There was nothing in it that would cause embarrassment or offence. It was both well written and the content was all in good humour.

Our guest thought the speech was hilarious and captured the topics in an entertaining way. It held their attention from start to finish, was very enjoyable and well received. Everyone cheered and clapped at the end and Steve got a standing ovation!

We would definitely recommend John’s services not only because of his professionalism but also he is approachable and his poems are a work of art….. Pure entertainment and definite comedy value.

It is a lovely keepsake to have of our wedding day and certainly reduced the stress by having his help!
